When the Hollywood-Beauty gets sweat:

Confessions from Sandra Bullock

Hollywood-Lady Sandra Bullock and Men: What she thinks is sexy and how she “tests” her movie partners.

“I don’t need a man to be happy. But it takes some time to realize that”, says Sandra Bullock. What does not mean, that she stays a single: “In the past when I thought about a marriage I got scared. Today, I could really imagine that. In the meantime I saw good examples in my surroundings und I learned much about what it means to love somebody in the last two years.”

So can the daughter of a voice coach and an opera singer also think about getting children: “The problem is, that it took long, until I feeled good by myself and I didn’t want to abandon a child to a neurotic mother.”

In Hollywood they like to do jokes about Bullock, that she falls in love with her movie partners rapidly – like Matthew McConaughey, with whom she co-starred in “A Time to Kill”. “You’re a long time together and you build up a relationship automatically. In the meantime I developed the “two-weeks-rule” to get the right opinion of someone”, smiles the star, “at the beginning you think: Oh, is this guy cute and attentive! Two times later it just gets the other way round and you recognize, this guy is like anybody else.”

When the 35-year-old Bullock hears the word “sexy”, she associates it in the first moment with dancing. “Give me Rhythm & Blues, a partner and a stage, the I’m unstoppable. Nothing else on this world lets me feel so free and feels so sexy like a dance”, confesses Bullock. Though, I currently sweat at another passion, it’s running: “I currently train for the marathon and this really makes addicted”. Addiction is also a theme of her new movie “28 Days”, which starts May 5th in the Austrian cinemas. Bullock plays an alcoholic author and was for research for the movie in a real deprivation hospital. “For none of my other movies I come so much to grips”, says the actress.

“28 Days” is also an appeal for a better understanding: “It’s a pity that today we carry our problems with ourselves and solve them by ourselves. This ends in all kinds of addiction, no matter if food or alcohol or destructive behaviour”, says Bullock.

That her last movies only were average ones in cinema, was no “big disappointing” for Sandra Bullock. “I have always another try”. From Los Angeles she moved away, “because I don’t want to live where I work”. Around Austin in Texas she build her dream house out of stone in south French style.
